Color Oops – How to dye your hair blonde

Today I’m going to be reviewing a hair color remover product. I decided to do it because I had a very frustrating experience and I wouldn’t wish that to happen anybody. I’m talking about COLOR Oops color remover.

Color Oops characteristics:

  • Bleach and ammonia free
  • No damaging effects
  • Restore the original color to your hair.
  • Patch Test Recommended.
  • Removes difficult color.
  • Removes permanents and semi-permanent hair color
  • Takes only 20 minutes

My experience with Color Oops:

Two month ago I had black hair, but I wanted a new look. I wanted to go lighter because I have been brunette all my life, it was time to change. So I decided to try Color Oops, because I didn’t want to get my hair burned using bleach.

I read so many product reviews, watched so many videos on YouTube, looked everywhere. At the end, I decided  Color Oops was the one. Basically because everybody was describing it as “amazing” and “safe” to my hair.

The Fifth Element

The Fifth Element – Milla Jovovich after Color Oops… lol, nah, just kidding!

I have a medium long hair, so I had to buy 2 Color Oops to saturate my hair with it. The total cost was like $25 and trust me, it’s not worth it. My hair ended red in the roots, and the rest was the exact same color I had before. It was disappointing and frustrating. Long story short, I had to bleach my hair like 4 times to get the color I wanted. My hair got burned and ugly. And every color I tried after that, came out brassy and orange.

Please listen to this, DON’T DO IT, stay away from Color Oops

If you want to go lighter, to get it done right, you must be aware that of two things:

  1. Your hair is going to end damaged, that’s a fact.
  2. It takes a lot of patience to get back the softness and the smoothness you had before.

Decided to take the risk? Just take a look at other options first

If you are like me and you like to experiment with your hair, to try new hair colors, different styles, don’t be afraid of bleaching or powder lighteners. I think that’s the fastest and more effective way to do it, even if you know you’re going to suffer the consequences.

So with that said, it think is fair enough to recommend other products I have been using, that are really doing what they promise, an amazing job. You can find them everywhere, yet nobody can beat Amazon prices.
